Hi, I'm Andrea!
I am a Psychotherapist. My long-term personal interest in the power of psychotherapy's ability to affect change brought me to the field. My previous professional experience includes work in the non-profit sector and 10 years in the tech industry.

My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and open minded, all with a dose of humor. My special interests include depression, stress, career change, the coming out process, and learning to live as your authentic self. I am a member of the LBGTQIA+ community. My hobbies range from playing sports to playing with dogs, and being an engaged member of my communities.

ABOUT ME
MY PRACTICE
Psychotherapy can be a process that is truly life changing. I believe one of the most important aspects of counseling is the relationship between the client and therapist. A sturdy and trusting therapeutic relationship can allow you the freedom to explore deep feelings, vulnerabilities, and experience insightful awakenings. I am interested in getting to know each of my clients and forming a close, collaborative relationship that affords them the freedom to learn more about themselves.

I work with clients to understand their concerns and goals. From there I tailor how I work with each person. This might include exploring history and defense mechanisms better, developing strategy to move towards congruence, and tracking their progress.
